Söderåsen offers great opportunities for hiking in beautiful surroundings. The national park has several well-marked trails to follow, which will take you to exciting environments: Into the rift, up on the plateaus, through beautiful beech forest and to sources of fresh spring water.

The Skåneleden leg “ås till ås” passes Skäralid on its way from Tingvalla outside Åstorps to Agusa on Österlen. This is a very beautiful hike with several great opportunities to make a pleasant stop.
Klåveröds hiking area on Söderåsen is also a really special place with several unique environments. A visit to the tower of “Höjehall”, Skåne’s highest point, from where you can see all the way down to the Öresund Bridge and Turning Turso in Malmö on a clear day, or to the nice little cave “Snuvestuan” should not to be missed. Skortstensdalen (The valley of chimneys) with its rock formations and Klåverödsdammen (The Klåveröd pond) with its fine fishing is also well worth a visit. Traneröds mosse (a bog) offers very un-Scanian nature – it is said that it is even possible to find cloudberries here.
Welcome to Sweden’s southernmost wilderness!
